The AHSI Mission:
AHSI exists to inspire and assist communities in providing all students—regardless of their race, socio-economic status or learning styles—with a rigorous educational experience culminating in the opportunity to receive a high school diploma and attend college.

AHSI will:
Enhance each participating organization’s capacity
to improve the quality of its schools and programs, start and sustain
new schools in its network, and assess the effectiveness of its services.
Collaborate to influence policy and practice in national
