The Big Picture Company’s mission is to catalyze vital changes in American education by generating and sustaining small innovative, personalized schools that work in tandem with the real world of their greater community. Big Picture designs break-through public schools, researches and replicates new designs for education, trains educators to serve as leaders in their schools and communities, and actively engages the public as participants and decision makers in the education of our youth. Big Picture has received international attention for the Met schools, which it founded. Every year new communities around the country and globe are opening Big Picture schools.
